Membership within the association provides the following benefits:   

• Provide information to our members through our Trumpet Newsletter, Internet site, and articles in your state publications authored by your representative to the Board.

• Bring concerns of our members to the attention of the International Board through our seat on the Board, and by mailing position statements to the other divisions, sections and elected officers.

• Work with private industry to provide an annual educational conference which helps fire service professionals see issues from another perspective.

• Participation in your state conference by an elected officer of the GLD Board (in addition to your state representative) to facilitate direct communication with our Board.
